Our cute little frogs that we had in the classroom were our specimens to gather the sperm & egg from. Apparently they've been taking care of these frogs for over a year just for this experiment. Giovanni & Suzanne Anker are doing a time-lapse video of the egg and it's entire fertilization process.
But tomorrow Giovanni and Suzanne are hoping to mutate the eggs and create basically a Siamese twin tadpole? Kinda confused about that, but hopefully I'll have more info on that tomorrow.
In other news, I am making progress on my overall studio exhibition plan. I am planning on bringing back elements from a 2013 project titled, "Trapped." But this time I will be using dirt and creating a "path" on where you can walk in my studio. So we ordered 20 pounds of dirt today and that should be here by Thursday.
I'm also going to have a few plants in jars in my studio as well. I haven't figured out exactly what I want to do with them, if anything, but I have to figure out what plants I want tonight, so we can order them tomorrow.
