Almost finished high school!
This week students continued on their projects. My drawing 1 class finally finished their stippling projects. Many of them did not like this project because of the monotonous dot making, but we had some good products!
We are going to be starting on Graph paper patterns next in drawing 1. Here are some examples I made to show the class.
My exhibit opening for Grand Tiny, the mini installation I did got cancelled because of the snow. I will post photos when it does happen!
I also started a Student of the Month bulletin board in our classroom. I finished it, but do not have a photo of the finished product. Look for that this week!! But here it is in progress.
Forgot to mention that last week I had two Skype interviews with two of the three grad schools I applied to. I applied to School of Visual Arts, Parsons, and Maryland Institute College of Art. I am in the interview phase for SVA and Parsons. Both interviews went pretty well. They asked me some challenging questions but overall I did well. I haven't heard anything from MICA yet, but there is still time. I will find out if I got accepted to any or all of these schools on or before April 1. So any day now.....
I also found out this weekend that Hamilton Township school district wants to interview me for an art teacher job! I do not know what grade level or what school, but that interview will take place on March 27. So until then I have to prepare my teaching portfolio and get all of that information organized and ready for the interview.
This week I'm feeling: grad school
